America's First International Air Meet - Los Angeles
The dates for America's first International Air Meet were from January 10, 1910, lasting ten days until January 20, and included a variety of participants.  This included not only aeroplanes but also hot air balloons and dirigibles.  Cash prizes were awarded to those participating in scheduled events which would include altitude, speed, and endurance competitions.
